Insights from AVPN 2026

Published: September 8, 2026

The AVPN Global Conference 2026 brought together impact investors, development organisations, businesses and other stakeholders from across the ecosystem to explore how capital can be mobilised to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

One message stood out: scaling impact requires more than capital. It requires collaboration, innovation and a long-term commitment to change.

For the Good Fashion Fund, this is particularly relevant. The transition towards more sustainable textile production is already underway, but accelerating this transition requires the right technologies, financing and partnerships to move solutions from ambition to implementation.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, strengthen existing relationships and build new connections around a shared ambition: making sustainable production the norm, not the exception.

As we continue developing Good Fashion Fund 2.0, these conversations reinforce the importance of bringing together investors, industry stakeholders, development partners and other actors to create the conditions for meaningful and scalable change across the textile and apparel sector.

AVPN 2026 highlighted the importance of working collectively to mobilise capital, share knowledge and support practical solutions that can accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient fashion industry.
