Affordable finance to organic agricultural SME’s

Organic Development Finance, ODF, provides affordable finance to certified organic and regenerative agricultural companies in low-income and emerging countries. The objective is to enhance local supply chains for organic crops in order to realize environmental and social benefits of organic production. 

Mobilising Capital at Scale to Support Sustainable Agriculture Practices and Avert Deforestation

The AGRI3 Fund aims to mobilise USD 1 billion in financing by providing credit enhancements and technical assistance to investment projects and businesses that protect and restore forests, promote sustainable agriculture, and support rural livelihoods.

Outcome based finance for products that improve livelihoods in Sub Sahara Africa 

The BIX Capital investment Strategy has been implemented successfully since 2016 as a solution to billions of people in (peri-)urban and rural settings in Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia and other parts of the Global South struggling to achieve a sustainable living.

Impact Finance for a Circular Textile Supply Chain

The Good Fashion Fund is a first-of-its-kind initiative to create systemic change in the textile and apparel industry by financing the implementation of highly impactful and disruptive production technologies in Asia. The fund targets long-term USD debt investments in textile and apparel manufacturers in India and Bangladesh.

Affordable Housing

DIGH

For several years, FOUNT advised and supported DIGH (Dutch International Guarantees for Housing) with portfolio management, debt restructuring, and refinancing of its EUR 70 million affordable housing portfolio in emerging markets. In cooperation with Dutch housing corporations, DIGH provides financing for social housing projects for the lower-income segment. DIGH has funded projects worldwide in three regions: South Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

FOUNT's Next Generation of Impact Funds

Building on the success of the Agri3 fund, ODF, BIX Capital and the Good Fashion Fund, FOUNT is launching a new generation of impact investment initiatives designed to address some of the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Leveraging the experience, network, and expertise developed over years of investing in emerging markets, these initiatives combine financial sustainability with measurable impact at scale.

Good Fashion Fund 2.0

Following the successful deployment of the Good Fashion Fund’s investment portfolio, FOUNT is developing Good Fashion Fund 2.0. Building on the strong track record and sector expertise of the existing team, the fund will continue to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and circular textile and apparel industry in Bangladesh, India and Vietnam.

First Mover Health Fund

The First Mover Health Fund (FMHF), initiated by FOUNT and Total Impact Capital, is a EUR 150 million impact fund focused on strengthening healthcare and Nutrition systems across Sub-Saharan Africa. The fund is supported by a partial guarantee and Technical Assistance facility from the European Commission.

FMHF will invest in companies operating across healthcare and/or nutrition delivery, manufacturing and innovation, with the objective of improving access to quality healthcare and nutritious food while strengthening local production capacity and resilience.

BORA – Blue Ocean Resilience & Adaptation Fund

BORA is an EUR 80–100 million blended private debt fund focused on advancing coastal resilience and the sustainable blue economy in Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia.

The fund will provide financing to businesses and projects that strengthen climate adaptation, protect coastal ecosystems, and promote sustainable economic development in vulnerable coastal regions. By mobilising private capital alongside development finance, BORA aims to deliver both environmental impact and long-term economic resilience.

Together, these initiatives reflect FOUNT’s commitment to combining financial expertise, sector knowledge, and strategic partnerships to deliver measurable impact while generating sustainable financial returns.
