Financial Instruments for Forest Protection
and Sustainable Agriculture
Organic Development Finance, ODF, provides affordable finance to certified organic and regenerative agricultural companies in low-income and emerging countries. The objective is to enhance local supply chains for organic crops in order to realize environmental and social benefits of organic production. Core investors/partners are Invest International, Tradin Organic (a specialist in the sourcing, processing and distribution of organic ingredients), USAID and GIZ. ODF works closely with a number of Buyer Partners to support their suppliers with flexible working capital financing and expertise. FOUNT is the Fund Manager of ODF.
Mobilising Capital at Scale to Support Sustainable Agriculture Practices and Avert Deforestation
The AGRI3 Fund aims to mobilise USD 1 billion in financing by providing credit enhancements and technical assistance to investment projects and businesses that protect and restore forests, promote sustainable agriculture, and support rural livelihoods.
Building on a Legacy of Achievement
The BIX Capital investment Strategy has been implemented successfully since 2016 as a solution to billions of people in (peri-)urban and rural settings in Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia and other parts of the Global South struggling to achieve a sustainable living.
Impact Finance for a Circular Textile Supply Chain
The Good Fashion Fund is a first-of-its-kind initiative to create systemic change in the textile and apparel industry by financing the implementation of highly impactful and disruptive production technologies in Asia. The fund targets long-term USD debt investments in textile and apparel manufacturers in India and Bangladesh.

Affordable Housing
DIGH
For several years, FOUNT advised and supported DIGH (Dutch International Guarantees for Housing) with portfolio management, debt restructuring, and refinancing of its EUR 70 million affordable housing portfolio in emerging markets. In cooperation with Dutch housing corporations, DIGH provides financing for social housing projects for the lower-income segment. DIGH has funded projects worldwide in three regions: South Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Now that The Good Fashion Fund and BIX Capital are fully invested, FOUNT is setting up follow-on funds backed by the same seasoned teams combining financial expertise with deep sector knowledge to deliver measurable impact.
GFF 2.0 builds on the track record, proven methodologies and tested local network of GFF 1.0, the first fund in the world offering a long-term financing solution for apparel manufacturers. GFF 2.0 offers a unique solution to the suppliers of select fashion brands: textile and apparel manufacturers in Bangladesh, India, Vietnam, and Turkey, to accelerate their journey towards sustainability by offering risk capital plus active support for climate adaptation, social improvements and regulatory compliance.
BIX2 builds on the proven model of BIX Capital, which pioneered Impact Receivables Finance to unlock capital for underserved communities. Building on this strong foundation, BIX2 introduces strategic enhancements shaped by market evolution and lessons learned, channelling finance to SMEs through verified impact outcomes based on sound methodologies. Expanding beyond improved household appliances, the fund now also supports Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) and Nature-Based Solutions.
